Welchs' second contribution, "Lay It All Down", is a nice rocker, but the lyrics weigh it down (I hate it when rock groups get Biblical). This song has a wonderful, dreamy feel and would take the titles of 'best track' if it wasn't for Kirwan's "Sands of Time". Bob Welch arrives with a bang in the form of "Future Games". Both are nice enough although her contributions to the succeeding album are basically the same, just better. Christine McVie's songs, the up-tempo "Morning Rain" and upbeat "Show Me A Smile", are the exceptions. With the addition of two new writers in Bob Welch and Christine McVie, "Future Games" largely consists of psychedelic folky tunes and jazzy numbers.
